Vineyard terraces running down to the Sil, with a small stone house by the water

RIBEIRA SACRA · GALICIA

The river keeps the secret. We make the wine.

Above the Sil, vines hold to terraces cut from stone and tended by hand. This is Mencía from a singular corner of Ribeira Sacra. Open it with friends, after a hard day, or on your own when a good thought has you staying up a little longer.

Recognised by Guía de Viños de Galicia in 2024 and 2025, and named Best Young Wine at Feira do Viño de Amandi.

The wines

The slope writes differently every year. Each bottle begins on the same terraces and finds its moment differently: with friends, after a good day or a hard one, in celebration, in reflection, or alongside the work that keeps you going.

CHESTNUT AND TIME

Worth waiting for.

A 2019 Mencía, given time in the cellar and finished in chestnut barrels, the tree that gives Soutelo its name. It carries dark fruit, roasted chestnut and a trace of cocoa.

Two bottlings. One wine. Two different lengths of time in chestnut.

THE BODEGA

The view tells you a lot.

The river below. Stone underfoot. Vines on the slope. This is Ribeira Sacra, and this is where we make the wine.
