Oro+ distinction in the 2024 Galician Wines Guide by renowned oenologist Luis Paadín.

2022 was hot and dry, and the vines gave us less fruit than usual. Fewer grapes meant more concentrated fruit, and you can taste it: blackberry first, then cherry, and madroño, the red fruit of the strawberry tree. It comes in soft and easy, then fills out, with fresh tannins holding it together. Luis Paadín gave it Oro+ in the Guía de Viños de Galicia, the first gold of our time here.

FROM THE BODEGA

We make wine in Ribeira Sacra, where slate, granite and slopes above the Sil give Mencía its edge. The grapes are picked by hand and brought down in small crates. Nothing chemical touches the vines; plants, flowers and the living rows are part of the work.

FROM THE SLOPES

The slopes make you slow down.

The terraces rise above the Sil. Each grape comes down by hand, and the slate under the vines gives the wine its mineral edge.
