IN THE GLASS
Cherry and wild blackberry come first, followed by violet and a quiet mineral edge. Soft tannins give the fruit room; the finish stays with you after the glass is down.
Hand-picked Mencía from the stone terraces above the Sil. Choose the 2021 for its gentle grip and unhurried character. A bottle to open when the company is good, or when you have a little time to yourself.
Lovely with roast chicken, lentils or mushrooms. But you need no menu to enjoy it.
SERVING AND STORAGE
Store bottles on their side, somewhere dark and cool. Once open, recork and enjoy within three days.

FROM THE TERRACES
We make wine in Ribeira Sacra, where slate, granite and slopes above the Sil give Mencía its edge. The grapes are picked by hand and brought down in small crates. Nothing chemical touches the vines; plants, flowers and the living rows are part of the work.

The slopes make you slow down.
The terraces rise above the Sil. Each grape comes down by hand, and the slate under the vines gives the wine its mineral edge.
